The world’s first test tube quadruplets (four children) born at a single birth) were born on January 6, 1984 at the Royal Women’s Hospital in Melbourne, Australia. According to Dr Andrew Spiers, leader of the surgical team, it was the first time the mother had carried all four successfully.
