Ten principles of Arya Samaj

The first efficient cause of all true knowledge and all that is known through knowledge is Parameshwar.

Ishwar is existent, omnipresent and blissful. Ishwar is formless, omniscient, just merciful, unborn, endless, unchangeable, beginning less, sole unequalled, the support of all, the master of all omnipresent, of all immanent, unseeing, immortal, fearless, internal, holy and maker of all. He alone is worthy of being worshipped.

Vedas are scriptures of true knowledge. It is the first duty of Aryas to read them, teach them, recite them and hear them being read.

One should always be ready to accept the truth and give up untruth.

One should do everything according to dictates of dharma, i.e. after due reflection over right and wrong.

Doing good to the whole world, is the primary object of this society, i.e. promote its physical, spiritual and social welfare.

Let all the dealings be regulated with love and justice in accordance with the dictates of dharma.

One should promote vidya (realization of subject and object) and dispel Avidya (illusion).

One should not be content with ones welfare alone, but should look for ones own welfare in the welfare of all.

One should regard oneself under restriction to follow altruistic rulings of society. While in following rules of individual welfare, all should be free.
